@@spuzzum100 there is a template that comes with the fan. I forgot to film that part but you can trace the template or the base of the fan whichever is easiest for you

@@mustangdbest220 this is to prevent roof leaks without proper tools. A soffit vent that points directly down is bad but the connection here points it outward giving the same effect as a roof vent. It’s pushing air out and away from the house not down and back up into the soffit

@@mustangdbest220 in optimal circumstances I agree. But if you’ve got a house without any existing roof penetrations your best bet would be this setup unless you have the money to get a roof vent installed. My roof is pitched so steep you’ll need a harness to walk so that would add to cost of installation if you needed to do it. But since the side exit doesn’t create problems with warm moist air returning through the soffit this is a much better solution

@@T3CHNOskillz venting about fan in vented softeners just as bad as venting it straight in the attic all the new houses are around my area I look up and all I see is all the damn bathroom fans fence in the vented soffits and I'm like that's stupid just vented straight up and out the roof it's so simple

@@mustangdbest220 that’s the thing about this vent. You’re not venting into the attic like a down spout. You’ll have no problems with this one. If anything you’d have more likely a chance of a leak with a roof and moisture in your attic compared to this version

Most definitely. I already have problems with my back from a bad fall many years ago and the stock height killed my back while riding. With the risers I’m in more of an upright position so I’m not straining to reach my bars. Much more comfortable

@@T3CHNOskillz i dont understand how you did this without taking the front brake off and the clutch off. i have no slack in my lines

@@T3CHNOskillz I bought the ones from your link and installed them on my bike but I had to take the front brake off and loosen the clutch a little because i needed about half an inch more slack in my lines lol. It definitely feels more comfortable just sitting on it. Anyways I can't wait to try them later on a ride, thanks for the advice and the video.

You’d have to take apart your headlight to find out. I don’t know if that year they stuffed all the wiring behind the light. If not this may be an easier job or not it depends on how the bracket it.

Yes. If you where to put in another HMI box that say was from another truck. You’re truck will now read it as stolen and not work

If it doesn’t come up as “service rear vision system” then it’s not programmed for a reverse camera which would require an HMI box program/upgrade. If the message does come up it could be a bad connection on the camera

@@LOV2XRL8RL if there’s a camera and it doesn’t detect it then yes it will show that message. The message appears if the reverse signal activates in the HMi box and a camera isn’t sending feedback pretty much

The only things within the bucket are the headlight assembly itself and 2 little flexible clips to hold wires back. I removed the two flex clip things to give me every bit of space I could get. You could potentially get a larger bucket but I don’t know if the brackets would line up to mount on the bike without some form of fabrication

@@T3CHNOskillz I removed those clips already and it's still too tight to sit comfortably. I made it fit temporarily using my old friend brute force, but I'm not completely satisfied with how it looks. My potential solutions are: 1. Find a deeper rim (33101-MFE-A41) 2. Find a deeper headlight bucket (61301-MFE-A41) 3. Relocate the ballast 3a. Not sure how to do this without modifying the bucket to allow the ballast to exit the bucket from the back or bottom. The exit hole in the back isn't big enough to get it out. 3b. Maybe there is a headlight extension cable somewhere that would allow me to relocate the ballast under the tank somewhere? 4. Figure out how to relocate most (if not all) of the other wire connectors inside the bucket somewhere else (this would be the start circuit, the control circuit for the turn signals etc. and would be very extensive)

@@jonvarga5569 I’d definitely see if there is a larger bucket that will work before trying to relocate wires. I had an aftermarket video before where the wires were coiled up behind the light but it looked like shit. It’d be best to get them all within a bucket somehow

@@kylusbooker1821 got it done from a local upholster in Virginia. It’s the stock seat but redone in leather with the double stitch diamond. Also added gel pad for extra comfort. Cost $650 about 3 years ago

There was that grommet which I don’t show in the video for the bracket itself but then I had that larger grommet that didn’t specifically show it was for anything. Ride the bike at nighttime with the stock and then ride with this LED it’s literally night and day. I could only see maybe 10 ft with like a 2 ft wide beam on stock light and with this I can see like 100 ft and the whole road now. Nothing will pop up with little time to correct in this headlight

Yea I couldn’t figure out how to screw it all in at once when the screws go through the 2 holes on the side. It took a while to figure it out. The double drywall may just require longer screws though. I don’t know how much room is available for the vent connection and power box though

If you didn’t have a camera already it’ll just say service rear vision system. But you can add a camera which I did in another video. It’s all plug and play

My wife had mentioned to me the other day as we came back home that even if you know that they’re there. Atleast with my house being so high. You don’t notice them at all. They blend in with the soffits being white and white wires

@@T3CHNOskillz I’m trying to talk myself into realizing $4500 is absurd to spend on lights - and Govee are fine- but what worries me also when the govees if and when fail you have to go ride them or hired someone to do it or replace them

@@efthimios it’s one of those things that you have no idea how long they’ll last. It’s really up to you if you think the cost to install versus the time you get with them is worth it. Right now I have mine off and only turn them on for holidays or special events. That should make them last a little longer. As for installing it’s really not that hard unless you have a very difficult house to maneuver around like mine.

That would be the easiest to get behind the bucket. There are 2 bolts that hold the bucket onto the bracket that it sits on

@@mattgusc80 you could possibly. You’d just have to make sure the screws are long enough and drill the right size hole so it snugs in

I believe they’re just yellow LED 194 bulbs. Like your standard turn signal bulb. I can’t remember off the top of my head without taking it apart to look at the bulb again

You’ll need to upgrade your HMI box to support the rear camera. Once you do you’ll just need the camera and its plug and play. Check the link in the description for options to upgrade

Where do you get the upgraded hmi box

Do you have led turn signals or halogen bulbs? I know with my 2018 shadow when I upgraded to LED the relay didn’t like it

@@aaronmarshall4904 another possible fix other than replacing the relay could be adding resistors in the line for the turn signals. My truck had halogen bulbs. I upgraded to LED but caused hyper flashing. You just add a resistor to the line and it stops that
